The R & R Ball Shoe - an homage to a therapeutic shoe used in the 1800’s. Realizing old technology with our modern materials and manufacturing capabilities. Often, steel and even aluminum, fall short, being too heavy for a fully functional ball-type rocker motion. Nor does it have the abrasion resistance necessary to keep its shape. This is where our durable polymer really shines- a super light-weight rocking shoe that is rigid enough to holds its shape.

This ball shoe rocks in all directions, making it completely zero-leverage, great for hoofcare professionals in treating arthropathy as well as laminitis in horses.

Though the concept is not new, this has been labor intensive and difficult to make in the days of forged steel. Many versions have come along over the years, but this is a bare-bones version in keeping with David Roberge’s vision as an effective treatment in a variety of cases.
